We went to Dr Chan's on Wednesday, and Loren had her 4 month check up. It's official - Loren is a big baby. She weighed in at 16.5 pounds (96th percentile) and measured 26" (99th percentile), and Dr Chan said that we could start solid foods to get some practice. Today we went out and got Loren her first spoon and first infant cereal. We're not sure if she likes it...

It kind of looks like she LIKES the cereal. At least she didn't spit it out so I think she liked it!! SHE'S A BIG BABY? Wow, if that's a BIG baby-I'd like to see what a small one looks like! I was shocked when I saw her b/c she looks way bigger in all the pictures on the blog and the pics you've sent us and ones your dad has sent us. I was REALLY expecting to see a MUCH BIGGER BABY in person. I know they know what they're talking about, but still---to me she doesn't LOOK LIKE A BIG BABY~!!
ReplyDeleteAnd I can't wait to see her swimming! Kind of looked like Mike was doing all the swimming.....so far. Hoping she has more lessons to come and the 1st one was just to 'introduce' her to water. I wanted to see her swimming under water....lol....oh wait, that may take me awhile before I can think about seeing that. lol
I'm sure she will be an Olympic swimmer, Mike!! Don't worry about it!! That was too funny when you said that!! But seriously, I'm SURE she'll love water sports since her parents are so crazy about them!! Don't think you'll have any worries there!! :))

Well she didn't spit it back out at least. Do all babies start out with cereal? I remember that was the 1st solid food Marshall had but didn't figure they still did that.
